Mural: Every Line is a Song Each Shape is a Story

The Center for Civil and Human Rights in partnership with Living Walls brought artist Cannupa Hanska Luger to Atlanta, GA to create a nail and string mural regarding the historical movement in Standing Rock, ND.

The center's new exhibit created by Cannupa Hanska, born on Standing Rock Reservation, is a vital narrative to the conversation on human rights and indigenous communities' access to clean water (a basic of human right). Inspired by indigenous activists who are now fighting for these basic rights, Cannupa Hanska's mural at the Center for Civil and Human Rights is a testament to the power, resilience, and connectivity of our indigenous communities.
