OLD DOMINION
OLD DOMINION

Fresno State Universities 2017 Artist in Residence Cannupa Hanska Luger presented Old Dominion, a community engaged installation at M Street Gallery, Fresno CA in April 2017. The works on exhibition included unfired clay slip cast skull and seed forms created on campus with students. Once the exhibition closed, these vessels were placed in the local environment to return to the earth. Also exhibited was a yarn and nail collaborative onsite installation created with Indigenous youth from the Chawanakee school district. Many thanks to Fresno State University and surrounding arts communities.
