OLD DOMINION. FSU Artist in Residence
OLD DOMINION. FSU Artist in Residence

FSU Artist in Residence Cannupa Hanksa Luger's 'Old Dominion' culminated in a community engaged installation/exhibition at M Street Gallery, Fresno CA in April 2017. The works on exhibition included unfired clay slip cast skull and seed forms created on campus with students. Once the exhibition closed, these vessels were placed in the local environment to return to the earth. Also exhibited was a string and nail collaborative onsite installation created with Indigenous youth from the Chawanakee school district. Many thanks to Fresno State University and surrounding arts communities.
